A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
I would like to thank all of our families for attending Parent-Teacher Conferences this past week. I do appreciate your feedback. We will be reevaluating the format of the Middle School conferences to ensure that there is less waiting time for parents in the future.
We had our first experience with inclement weather this week! The middle school procedure for after school pick up in inclement weather worked out very well thanks to your cooperation. I would remind parents to please have your name card in the passenger window to assist us in keeping the pick up line moving. Parents of seniors are asked to remind your student to pay attention to the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Rain gear and umbrellas may need to be brought to school for those students walking to our satellite classrooms at Holy Rosary Parish Center.
The weather has certainly turned cooler. Enjoy this time of year with your family!
Sincerely,
Kathleen St. Laurent

Senior Info
As we enter the month of EARLY ACTION/EARLY DECISION (binding) it is imperative that students give their teachers and counselors sufficient time to write a well-written letter. A student should have ALREADY completed their BRAG SHEET, personally asked their teachers (w/BRAG SHEET in hand) and added them to NAVIANCE. Parents can help by reminding their child to be attentive to these items

News from Middle School Division
A reminder - please place one of your family name tags on the passenger side of your window so monitors can call your child to your car. This will help to make pick up easier for all, especially during inclement weather. Thank you for your cooperation.
Thank you and God bless.

Auditions for Middle School Christmas Production
Auditions for the Middle School Christmas Production of “A Christmas Carol” will be held on Tuesday, October 7 from 2:00 - 4:30. This is an extended audition time for students who may have other activities that same afternoon. This musical centers on one day in the life of Ebenezer Scrooge... Christmas Eve. Christmas for Ebenezer is all “Bah” and “Humbug.” That night three spirits haunt his dreams, showing him what he once was as a boy...joyful and happy; the miserly man he has become now; and what his future fate could be. After his confrontation with the spirits, he awakens a new man. Scrooge buys the biggest goose available for the Cratchit family, gives generously to the poor and helps save Tiny Tim. After his night’s experience, Scrooge is glad to be alive, and he sings that message to the world.

Helpful Hints for Middle School Families
Did You Know!
Research shows that most tweens would like to talk more with their families about schoolwork. Ask your child to share what he or she is learning in classes. Be specific: “What kind of math problems did you do today?” or “Tell me about the science experiment you did in lab today.”
